Soccer Recap: Maranatha Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Maranatha Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to Hiawatha Collegiate. Maranatha Christian Academy were not able to make up for their defeat to Hiawatha Collegiate from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Maranatha Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Hiawatha Collegiate, they pushed their record up to 5-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Maranatha Christian Academy will host St. Agnes at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Hiawatha Collegiate, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against St. Paul City at 7:00 p.m. on the 23rd.
