Volleyball Recap: Model Takes a Loss

The Model Blue Devils came up short against the Midtown Knights on Saturday and fell 2-0. The Blue Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Catherine Betz paced Model's offense, picking up five kills. Betz got some help from Landry Johnson and her seven assists.

Midtown can attribute much of their success to Abby Taylor, who had ten digs and two aces.

Model's defeat dropped their record down to 29-8. As for Midtown, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 28-9.

Model wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Sonoraville on the 27th. As for Midtown, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against St. Pius X Catholic on the 27th.
