Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Nash Central walked away with it. They put the hurt on the Louisburg Warriors with a sharp 69-46 win on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won five in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Nash Central to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cameron Fate, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 14 rebounds. JaKayla Gay was another key player, dropping a double-double with 25 points and ten boards.

Nash Central's win bumped their record up to 18-8. As for Louisburg, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 16-11.

Coming up, Nash Central will challenge Fairmont on Tuesday. Fairmont knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matchups -- so hopefully Nash Central likes a good challenge. Louisburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
