Basketball Recap: West Caldwell Comes Up Short

West Caldwell lost against South Caldwell last Friday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Warriors were dealt a 76-37 loss at the hands of the Spartans. The Warriors were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-16.

Despite the loss, West Caldwell still got an impressive performance from Bryson Edmisten, who posted eight points and nine boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Camren Patrick, who earned six points.

West Caldwell's defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-2. As for South Caldwell, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

West Caldwell will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Wilkes Central at 8:00 p.m. on the 2nd. As for South Caldwell, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 55-36 victory against East Burke on the 25th.
