Soccer Recap: Southeast Raleigh Comes Up Short

Southeast Raleigh was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 9-0 to the Garner Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Garner this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-0 back in April.

Southeast Raleigh's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Garner, their victory bumped their record up to 9-12.

Looking ahead, Southeast Raleigh will challenge Willow Spring at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Willow Spring will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something Southeast Raleigh surely won't give up without a fight. As for Garner, they will take on Corinth Holders at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Garner's defense better be ready for this one: Corinth Holders have averaged an impressive 3.1 goals per game this season.
