Volleyball Recap: Fremont Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Fremont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Gunn Titans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Titans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-22, 23-25, 25-13.

Loss or not, Fremont got some senior leadership from Alexandra Chen and Zoe Shie. Chen had 23 digs and two aces, while Shie had 19 digs and two aces. Those 23 digs set a new season-high mark for Chen.

Among those leading the charge was Zara Mayor, who had 12 digs. The team also got some help courtesy of Kirsten Rios, who had four digs and three aces.

Fremont's defeat dropped their record down to 8-18. As for Gunn, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-15.

As of now, neither Fremont nor the Titans have any future games scheduled.
