Volleyball Recap: Flora Wolves vs. Salem Wildcats
Flora unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 2-0 to the Salem Wildcats on Tuesday. The Wolves haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.
The final score came out to 25-8, 25-21.
Salem got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Quinn Wolfe out in front who had four digs and three aces. What's more, Wolfe posted four kills, the most she's had since back in October of 2024. Another player making a difference was Kale Benjamin, who had five digs and two aces.
Salem has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Flora will square off against Richland County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Salem, they will take on Teutopolis at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
