Baseball Recap: Bluffton Takes a Loss

Bluffton lost against Parkway back in May of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Pirates lost 11-2 to the Panthers. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Blayne Hill made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-3.

Bluffton's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Parkway, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bluffton will host Liberty-Benton at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Eagles' pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so the Pirates' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Parkway, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Allen East at 5:30 p.m.
