Volleyball Game Preview: Parkway Central Colts vs. Mehlville Panthers

The Parkway Central Colts are taking a road trip to square off against the Mehlville Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.

Parkway Central took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Seckman as they made off with a 3-0 win.

Parkway Central never let Seckman on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-23, 25-21.

Mehlville not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 29th (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on Christian Brothers with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Panthers as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

While Mehlville won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-20, 25-22.

Parkway Central has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-6-1 record this season. As for Mehlville, their victory bumped their record up to 21-14.
