Briggs Barlow put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in April on Friday. He struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in 11 consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Barlow and Southeast Career Tech will challenge Western at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Roadrunners are a perfect 8-0 against the Warriors going back to March of 2017, a lead they'll look to extend.
