Volleyball Recap: Handley Takes a Loss

Handley and Millbrook squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Handley had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Pioneers by a score of 3-2. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Pioneers this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-0 loss back in October.

Handley took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-18, 22-25, 25-19, 15-10.

Handley moved to 13-7 with that loss, which also ended their three-match winning streak. As for Millbrook, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 19-3.

Handley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Millbrook, they will face off against James Wood at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
