Soccer Recap: Arlington Comes Up Short

Despite a strong season so far, Arlington has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They fell 3-1 to the Bowie Volunteers on Tuesday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Colts came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 184th, while the Volunteers are ranked 459th).

Arlington's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3-2. As for Bowie, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-1-2 and their overall record up to 4-5-2.

Arlington will welcome Lamar at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bowie, they will head out on the road to take on Haltom at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
