Basketball Recap: Challis Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Challis played a tough game on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against the Mackay Miners, falling 52-32. The Vikings haven't had much luck with the Miners recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Despite the loss, Challis still got an impressive performance from Ramey Rhoades, who posted 11 points.

Mackay's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Cooper Holt, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 11 boards. The dominant performance also gave Holt a new career-high in steals (seven). Jesse Barger was another key player, putting up ten points in addition to eight rebounds and seven steals.

Challis' defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Mackay, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Challis will look to takes advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on Dietrich at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mackay, they have already played their next contest, a 53-52 victory against Victory Charter on the 5th.
