St. Michael Catholic won the last time they faced Davidson and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Cardinals were the clear victors by a 12-1 margin over the Warriors. The Cardinals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Addison Pratt was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Those hits were her first of the season. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 1-for-1. That's the most runs she has posted over her last ten games.

In other batting news, Amelia Johnson was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and four RBI. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Maggie Mattison, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

St. Michael Catholic always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .870. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Davidson only posted an OBP of .444.

The win made it two in a row for St. Michael Catholic and bumps their season record up to 9-14. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 5 runs in those games. As for Davidson, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as St. Michael Catholic Cardinals face off against Murphy Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Davidson, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Mary G. Montgomery at 4:00 p.m. The Vikings will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Warriors surely won't give up without a fight.
