Softball Recap: Bexley Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Bexley's offense. They lost 11-0 to the Worthington Christian Warriors on Wednesday. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Lions' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Bexley saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Elle Cochran, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base.

Bexley's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Worthington Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-9 record this season.

Bexley will challenge Grandview Heights at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Lions are facing the Bobcats at the right time seeing as the Bobcats are stuck on a three-game losing streak. Worthington Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
