Softball Recap: Rushville-Industry Takes a Loss

Rushville-Industry lost against Cuba/Spoon River Valley back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Rockets lost 20-1 to the Wildcats.

Rushville-Industry saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Charlee Gerleman, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Rushville-Industry's defeat dropped their record down to 16-8. As for Cuba/Spoon River Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rushville-Industry will head out to challenge Seymour at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cuba/Spoon River Valley, they will venture away from home to square off against Canton at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
