Baseball Recap: Poly Prep Country Day Blue Devils vs. St. Joseph-by-the-Sea Vikings

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against West Broward, Poly Prep Country Day was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They came out on top against the St. Joseph-by-the-Sea Vikings by a score of 4-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Blue Devils also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2021.

Justice De Jong spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on three hits and racked up eight Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run any time he's pitched this season.
