Preview: Needles Mustangs vs. Lincoln County Lynx
The Needles Mustangs will be playing at home against the Lincoln County Lynx at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Needles will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in their respective state's rankings (they are ranked 649th in California, while Lincoln County is ranked 56th in Nevada).
Last Friday, in a tight matchup that could have gone either way, Needles made off with a 22-21 victory over Lincoln County. The win was just what Needles needed coming off of a 45-14 defeat in their prior matchup.
Needles now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Lincoln County, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 4-5.
Needles won a contest that couldn't have been any closer in their previous matchup on Friday, slipping by Lincoln County 22-21. Will Needles repeat their success, or does Lincoln County have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
