After a string of five wins, Victory Baptist Academy's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They came up short against the Mount Hope Christian Academy Warriors, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-1 loss last Tuesday.

Emily Fizer paced Victory Baptist Academy's offense, picking up six kills. Fizer got some help from Julianne McNeely and her 12 assists. Finally, Fizer was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high six blocks.

Victory Baptist Academy's loss dropped their record down to 26-5. As for Mount Hope Christian Academy, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 19-3.

As of now, neither Victory Baptist Academy nor the Warriors have any future games scheduled.
