Football Recap: North Star co-op [Cando/Bisbee-Egeland] Takes a Loss

North Star co-op [Cando/Bisbee-Egeland] was the 44-40 winner over Midway/Minto when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bearcats took a hard 30-14 fall against the Mustangs on Friday. The Bearcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

North Star co-op [Cando/Bisbee-Egeland]'s defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Midway/Minto, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. North Star co-op [Cando/Bisbee-Egeland] is set to take on their familiar foe Four Winds at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Midway/Minto will face off against rival North Border co-op [Walhalla/Pembina] on Friday.
