Volleyball Recap: Ignacio Extends Winning Streak to Four + How To Watch

Ignacio came tearing into Saturday's matchup with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Dove Creek Bulldogs 3-0. This was payback for the Bobcats, who suffered a 3-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-8, 25-16.

Alleah Neil paced Ignacio's offense, picking up seven kills. Neil got some help from Kelly Sirios and her 16 assists. Sirios was also solid from the service line: she led the team with nine aces.

Ignacio's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Dove Creek, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Ignacio is set to face off against their familiar foe Dolores at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Dove Creek will challenge rival Mancos at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
