Basketball Recap: Central Comes Up Short

Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. 2025 welcomed they with a 50-27 loss courtesy of the Natrona County Mustangs. The matchup marked the Indians' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Central now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Natrona County, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 1-5 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Central will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Campbell County at 7:30 p.m. on January 17th. As for Natrona County, they will venture away from home to square off against South at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
