Central barely beat North Kansas City the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Indians put the hurt on the Hornets with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday. That looming 3-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Indians yet this season.

While Central won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-23, 25-19.

Greely Simpson paced Central's offense, picking up 17 kills. Simpson got some help from Hayden Root and her 28 assists. Finally, Kenaya Mujingila kept Central's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Central has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-15 record this season. As for North Kansas City, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.
