Avon strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came out on top against the Perry Yellowjackets by a score of 8-3. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Braves also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

Jessie Crye made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 19 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in May of 2024. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
