Softball Recap: Cleveland Central Catholic Comes Up Short on the Road Against Oberlin

Cleveland Central Catholic had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against the Oberlin Phoenix, falling 23-3. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

Cleveland Central Catholic saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Josalyn Hall, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

The win got Oberlin back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Cleveland Central Catholic will challenge Bard Early College at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Oberlin, they are taking a road trip to challenge Lorain at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
