Basketball Recap: Potlatch Takes a Loss

Potlatch lost to Kendrick back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Loggers took a blow against the Tigers, falling 63-35. While losing is never fun, the Loggers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Idaho basketball rankings (they are ranked 79th, while the Tigers are ranked 11th).

Potlatch's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Kendrick, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 16-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Potlatch will welcome Lapwai at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Loggers will be up against the Wildcats' rather soft defense (which has allowed 49.67 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Kendrick, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Prairie at 7:30 p.m.
