Soccer Game Preview: Lincoln vs. Pickerington North + How To Watch

The Lincoln Lions will head out to square off against the Pickerington North Panthers at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Lincoln's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for seven straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Lincoln managed to slip by Big Walnut the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Lions lost 3-0 to the Golden Eagles on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Lincoln can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 157th, while Big Walnut are ranked 34th).

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Pickerington North duked it out with Hilliard Davidson on Thursday. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 6-1 margin over the Wildcats. It was an even better day for Olivia McCuen as she scored three goals for her team.

The victory made it two in a row for Pickerington North and bumps their season record up to 8-3-4. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those two matches. As for Lincoln, their loss dropped their record down to 3-11-2.
