Football Game Recap: Argenta-Oreana vs. Sangamon Valley/Tri-City

Argenta-Oreana put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season on Friday. They took the contest and then some with a 52-13 win over Sangamon Valley/Tri-City. That result was just more of the same for Argenta-Oreana, who also won the last time these teams played.

Argenta-Oreana's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 52 points in the first half. Sangamon Valley/Tri-City came up with 6 to make it 52-6 heading into the break. Although they lost the second-half battle, they still had plenty to win the war. The victory bumped their record up to 4-0. The loss dropped Sangamon Valley/Tri-City's record to 1-2.

Next week Argenta-Oreana take on Decatur Lutheran/Decatur Christian at 7:00 PM. Decatur Lutheran/Decatur Christian will need to watch out since Argenta-Oreana have now posted big point totals in their last four contests. As for Sangamon Valley/Tri-City, they will face off against Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond.
