Baseball Recap: Kingman Picks Up Fifth Straight Win on the Road

Kingman barely beat Chaparral the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Eagles blew past the Roadrunners 8-2 on Thursday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 1-0 on Thursday.

Kingman pushed their record up to 10-5 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for Chaparral, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7-1 record this season.

Kingman is taking a road trip to square off against Nickerson on Monday. As for Chaparral, they will host Wichita Defenders HomeSchool at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
