Basketball Recap: Champlin Park Takes a Loss

If Champlin Park was riding high fresh off their 63-43 takedown of Coon Rapids last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Champlin Park Rebels might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Anoka Tornadoes an easy 74-50 victory. The Rebels have struggled against the Tornadoes recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Champlin Park's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Anoka, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Champlin Park will head out to square off against Jordan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Anoka will take on Coon Rapids in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
