After a string of five wins, Millington's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They lost 9-2 to the Beaverton Beavers.

Garret Woodward was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, one triple, and one RBI. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

Millington's loss dropped their record down to 20-8-1. As for Beaverton, they pushed their record up to 9-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.
