Volleyball Recap: Wilber-Clatonia Comes Up Short

Wilber-Clatonia lost against Freeman back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wolverines took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Falcons. The Wolverines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-11.

Haleah Schuerman paced Wilber-Clatonia's offense, picking up five kills. Schuerman got some help from Brynn Zajicek and her five assists.

Wilber-Clatonia's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Freeman, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.

Wilber-Clatonia wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Nebraska City on the 20th. As for Freeman, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Lourdes Central Catholic on the 11th.
