Palmyra gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They really took it to the Hallsville Indians for the full four quarters, racking up a 48-14 win. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Panthers just coasted through the last quarter.

Although Hallsville took the loss, they still got scores from Abraham Rhoades and Landon Cunningham.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Palmyra will host Bowling Green at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hallsville, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Centralia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
