Softball Recap: Whale Branch Comes Up Short

Whale Branch was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Lowcountry Leadership NaviGators, falling 14-2. That's two games in a row now that the Warriors have lost by exactly 12 runs.

Whale Branch's record is now 1-13. As for Lowcountry Leadership, their record now sits at 6-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Whale Branch and Cross will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 6:00 p.m. on the 22nd. The Stingrays will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last. As for Lowcountry Leadership, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Academic Magnet at 5:00 p.m. on the 24th. The Raptors have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15.25 runs per game on average), something the NaviGators will no doubt try to take advantage of.
