            Baseball Recap: Vincennes Rivet Patriots vs. Bloomfield Cardinals        
        
		
        
        
            Vincennes Rivet proved they can win big  on Monday (they won by ten) and  on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Bloomfield Cardinals  4-3. This was payback for the Patriots, who suffered  an  8-4  loss the last time these two teams met.
  Jayden Thacker made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only two  hits over four innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate,  going a perfect 2-for-2 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  double.
