Basketball Recap: Bellwood-Antis Takes a Loss

Bellwood-Antis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They were beaten by the Forest Hills Rangers 59-24. The Blue Devils were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-18.

Despite the defeat, Bellwood-Antis had strong showings from Connor Mayes, who posted 14 points, and Avery Bardell, who scored three points and five rebounds. Bardell also put up an assist, which washis first of the season.

Bellwood-Antis' loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Forest Hills, their win was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bellwood-Antis has already played their next match (against Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Forest Hills has also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against Central Cambria.
