Volleyball Recap: Freeport Now 7-2 over Last Nine Games

Freeport saw some tournament action on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Stone Memorial Panthers.

Freeport can attribute much of their success to Kaylee Worrell, who had seven digs and two aces.

Worrell wasn't the only good servers: Freeport was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Stone Memorial only served two.

Freeport is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. As for Stone Memorial, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-6.

Freeport wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Destin on the 20th. As for Stone Memorial, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Choctawhatchee on the 19th.
