Baseball Recap: Tyngsborough Takes a Loss

Tyngsborough fell victim to Oakmont Regional and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 10-0 to the Spartans. The loss continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Spartans: they've now lost nine in a row.

Tyngsborough's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Oakmont Regional, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-3.

Coming up, Tyngsborough is taking a road trip to square off against Greater Lowell Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Oakmont Regional, they will welcome Groton-Dunstable at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Crusaders' pitching crew has only allowed 4.1 runs per game this season, so the Spartans' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
