Basketball Recap: Liberty's Higher State Rank on Full Display on Wednesday

Liberty's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They strolled past the Kearney Bulldogs with points to spare, taking the game 55-37. Given the Blue Jays' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 92nd, while the Bulldogs are ranked 203rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win got Liberty back to even at 9-9. As for Kearney, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-12.

Liberty will head out to square off against Oak Park at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kearney, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Winnetonka at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
