Yulee has no trouble against West Nassau

Recap: Yulee Hornets vs. West Nassau Warriors
Even though the West Nassau Warriors scored an imposing 56 points on Thursday, the Yulee Hornets still came out on top. The stars were shining brightly for Yulee in a 70-56 win over West Nassau. That's another feather in the cap for Yulee, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Among those leading the charge was Nigel Smith, who scored 15 points along with three steals. That's the first time this season that he scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Christopher Lemon, who scored eight points along with six assists and six rebounds.
Yulee's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for West Nassau, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-11.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Yulee won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Fernandina Beach at 7:30 a.m. on December 22nd. Fernandina Beach is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. West Nassau will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Eagle's View at 7:30 p.m. on January 9, 2024.
