Recap: Brooke Point Black Hawks vs. Stafford Indians
The Brooke Point Black Hawks's three-game losing streak came to an end on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Stafford as Brooke Point made off with a 51-31 victory. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Brooke Point has managed all season.
Among those leading the charge was Antoinette Sanusi, who scored 19 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Chloe Williams, who scored eight points.
Brooke Point's win bumped their record up to 3-10. As for Stafford, they dropped their record down to 2-10 with that defeat, which was their tenth straight at home.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brooke Point and Massaponax will face off at 6:30 p.m. on January 26th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Massaponax knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three contests -- so hopefully Brooke Point likes a good challenge. Stafford won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Colonial Forge at 5:00 p.m. on January 24th.
