Soccer Recap: Grapevine Gets the Win

Grapevine got their first taste of in-conference action this week and they started things off strong. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Denton Broncos on Friday, sneaking past 2-1. Brooke Turner had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Mustangs.

With the win, Grapevine broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-6-3. As for Denton, they dropped their record down to 0-7-2 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Grapevine will welcome Ryan at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Denton, they will square off against Colleyville Heritage at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Colleyville Heritage is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3 goals per game this season.
