Recap: Millsap Bulldogs vs. Lipan Indians
This season hasn't been kind to the Millsap Bulldogs, who are still winless after their sixth contest. They took a 56-41 bruising from Lipan on Thursday. While losing is never fun, Millsap can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1243rd, while Lipan is ranked 82nd).
Millsap's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Tripp Moore, who scored 13 points along with 5 rebounds. Tres Bagley was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Millsap's loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-6. As for Lipan, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.
Millsap will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Childress at 1:00 p.m. on November 30th. Childress is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games. As for Lipan, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Huckabay at 6:15 p.m. on December 5th.
