Baseball Recap: Plymouth Snaps Eight-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Saturday just wasn't the day for Plymouth's offense. They fell just short of the Detroit Country Day Yellowjackets by a score of 1-0 on Saturday. Considering the last time the Wildcats couldn't score was back in April, the team can't take the result too hard.

Plymouth saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Josh Taylor, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one double.

Plymouth's loss ended an eight-game streak of away wins and brought them to 21-19. As for Detroit Country Day, the win got them back to even at 12-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Plymouth will square off against Farmington at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Detroit Country Day, they will face off against Rochester at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
