Baseball Recap: Lakeside Eagles vs. Riverside Rams
Lakeside won the last time they faced Riverside and things went their way on Saturday too. The Eagles blew past the Rams 14-2. Considering the Eagles have won four matchups by more than eight runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
Kannon Almond made a big impact no matter where he played. He struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. Those six strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
