Cienega is 2-8 against Nogales since April of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Bobcats will host the Apaches at 6:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Nogales will be up against a hot Cienega squad: the team just extended their winning streak to five. The Bobcats blew past Flowing Wells 15-2 on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Bobcats, who have now won seven contests by six runs or more so far this season.

ZAK VASQUEZ was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.
Cienega always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .611. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Meanwhile, Nogales was able to grind out a solid win over Walden Grove on Friday, taking the game 13-8. The victory continues a trend for the Apaches in their matchups with the Red Wolves: they've now won five in a row.

Cienega suffered a grim 6-0 defeat to Nogales when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can the Bobcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
