Volleyball Recap: Hugoton Takes a Loss

Hugoton lost against Holcomb on September 11th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Eagles took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Longhorns.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-13.

Holcomb found their leader in sophomore Delilah Galliart, who had 21 digs. Galliart is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 14 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Hugoton's loss dropped their record down to 3-12-2. As for Holcomb, their victory bumped their record up to 15-3.

Coincidentally, Hugoton and Holcomb will both be playing Ulysses the next time they take the court. The Longhorns will head out to face the Tigers at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Eagles will play them later in the day, at 4:00 p.m.
