Menlo School lost against Sacred Heart Prep last Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Knights fell just short of the Gators by a score of 2-1. The Knights' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Alex Fair paced Menlo School's offense, picking up nine kills. Fair got some help from Jamie Johnson and her 15 assists. Johnson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Menlo School's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Sacred Heart Prep, the win keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.

Menlo School didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Menlo-Atherton on the 20th. As for Sacred Heart Prep, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Valley Christian on the 20th.
