Football Recap: University Lab Extends Winning Streak to Seven

University Lab lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Port Allen, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's matchup. The Cubs breezed past the Pelicans to the tune of 42-6 on Friday. The Cubs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by 36 points or more this season.

The victory (which was University Lab's seventh in a row) raised their record to 8-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 8.9 points on average over those games. As for Port Allen, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.

As of now, neither University Lab nor Port Allen have any future games scheduled.
