Brillion came tearing into Thursday's match with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the New Holstein Huskies 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in August.
The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-9, 25-17.
Emma Schuh paced Brillion's offense, picking up 11 kills. Schuh got some help from Reina Eijtjes and her 29 assists. Eijtjes was also solid from the service line: she led the team with eight aces.
Brillion's victory bumped their record up to 19-3. As for New Holstein, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season.
